Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly, is famous for his unique way of singing. Baker was born in Houston in Texas on 22 April of 1990. He was born into an German and English Scottish family. His parents were missionaries and during his initial years they traveled extensively with them. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was unemployed as Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker was moved to Denver with his dad and stayed for a while. Baker was bullied by other kids because of his poverty. When he was in sixth grade, he started listening to hip-hop. Colson Kelly was born as Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989 in Texas. The music he composes is a fusion of modern hip-hop and alternative, as well as rock. Baker has released four mixtapes over the years between 2007 and 2010 prior to joining Bad Boy Records. By the end of 2011, the Cleveland rapper became a star after he made the transition from self-releasing mixtapes to signing with well-known record labels. The fame of this Cleveland rapper soared after the release of his debut mixtape late in the year.
