Anna Maria Chlumsky has been an American actress for over 30 years. Her acting career began as a child and gained fame for her character, Vada Oltenfuss in My Girl and My Girl 2 (both films). She took a hiatus between 1999 and 2005 in order to enroll in university. Anna's parents are Nancy Chlumsky, Jr. and Frank Chlumsky Jr. She was born in Chicago in the state of Illinois on 3 December of 1980. Her mother was a flight attendant and her father was a chef. Both parents are accomplished musicians. Her mother, an actress and singer, as well as her father can play the saxophone. At the age of 10 her modeling career began in Marshall Fields. Her sole source of care was her mother, following the dissolution of her parents at the time she turned two.
